First we interview our new client to determine the most suitable approach for the upcoming project. We understand that the needs of our clients are different and we always recommend a plan that suits the home owner’s needs best. The plan may either be the most affordable, most contemporary, top of the line, or the most “bang for their buck”.

Points to consider:

  • Budget for renovation
  • Vision of desired look and functionality
  • Size and space
  • Analysis of existing construction
  • Accessibility
  • Functionality
  • Lighting
  • Trends in Richmond VA
  • Colors
  • Appliances and fixtures

Once we are ready to begin the construction we follow the following steps.

Kitchen Remodeling / Bathroom Remodeling/Office Remodeling:

  1. Rough Layout Design:
We do not build the kitchen cabinets, but we can help you order them with one of our suppliers and design the kitchen layout so it fits best your space and personal preferences. If you wish to have custom built cabinets we will recommend a contractor in Richmond, with whom we work.
  2.  Permit:
We will pull all necessary permits, if required.
  3. Demolition:
We will contain the kitchen remodeling to only the area that needs work. The rest of your house will remain undisturbed. We dispose of all debris.
  4. Framing:
We will do any necessary framing (adding or moving any walls) and subfloor work.
  5. Pass framing inspection.
  6. Rough Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC:
We do not employ full time electricians, plumbers and HVAC mechanics, but we have strong relationships with excellent contractors in Richmond who specialize in these trades and we will supervise and guarantee all of their work.
  7. Pass all trades inspections
  8. Drywall repairs or replacement:
We will either repair the drywall on the walls and ceilings or replace it depending on the remodeling job.
  9. Painting:
We will prime and paint the walls and ceiling of the kitchen.
  10. Flooring:
We will either install new floors or refinish the original one. The floor option can be hardwood floors, ceramic tile floors, linoleum, laminate etc.
  11. Kitchen cabinets and vanity installation:
We will set all kitchen cabinets and/or bathroom vanities
  12. Countertops:
